Former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov seems to have taken shots at Andrew Tate and Jake Paul after their losses recently.

Tate lost to Chase DeMoor in his Misfits boxing debut while Paul was knocked out by Anthony Joshua on a Netflix boxing special.

Tate has built an alpha male character online over the years and has several cases against him for various reasons. However, he made a return to combat sports after nearly five years but he didn’t look great in the fight against DeMoor.

Paul, for his part, has fought some of the biggest names in boxing. But, most of them have been well past their primes.

The post on Instagram called out the pair as misogynistic and carrying cartoonish tough guy personas.

Here’s what the post said:

“The fact that these two men have managed to amass tens of millions of disciples worldwide by mimicking a brash, misogynistic, cartoonish ‘tough-guy’ persona, says less about strength and more about widespread insecurity and intellectual laziness. Cosplay for men who confuse volume with authority and cruelty with power.”

It also called out digital platforms for amplifying these characters and wanted these outlets to be regulated.

Paul and Tate had been humbled a bit after their losses. This didn’t last long as they are back to posting and playing the personas that have been created over the years again.

When Khabib Nurmagomedov responded to Andrew Tate’s praise

Andrew Tate seems to be a fan of Khabib Nurmagomedov. ‘Cobratate’ lauded Khabib for his win against Conor McGregor. The former kickboxing champion brought up the Russian’s religion and how disciplined he was ahead of the fight.

In 2024, Khabib was showing this video of Tate praising his win over McGregor. ‘The Eagle’ didn’t bring up Tate’s name but had this to say about the reaction:

"I think more than important I always surprised why people surprised if I know something. Like, for example, about my religion or about my country. It's, everybody has to know this."
