The NFL offseason is a time when the futures of players become the center of attention, and for Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts, this was true.
With the franchise placing the tag on Pitts, some thought he wouldn't sign it as he wanted a long-term deal, and as such, could hold out of the offseason program.
But in what is a huge win for new head coach Kevin Stefanski, Pitts has signed his tender, per NFL Network, and even reported to the facility to begin voluntary offseason workouts.
That is a huge win for Stefanski and the Falcons.

Long-term deal coming for Pitts?
Well, that will be the plan for the Falcons.
The tag is a mere placeholder until the two sides can come to terms on a new deal.
Set to earn roughly $15 million in 2026 if the two sides can agree to a new deal before the July 15 deadline, Pitts is taken care of either way.
But having Pitts signed to a long-term deal would be great for the Falcons and would be a big tick of approval for Stefanski.
Granted, it is a small step in the right direction, and we know things can go south in a hurry, but right now, there are good vibes coming out of the NFC South franchise with Stefanski securing a big win of the offseason.
