What did Kay Adams ask KD?
In the interview, Adams asked KD, "Are we recruiting Russell Westbrook?"
KD, with a smirk on his face, said that they just wrapped up the deal to get himself to Houston, and basically that they'd take it one thing at a time.
It's an interesting answer because he doesn't give the scenario a 0% chance of happening despite not guaranteeing anything, saying, "It's still early."

As most know, Durant and Westbrook played together in OKC before Durant left the team in free agency to sign with the Warriors.
There was some bad blood during that time between the two, but maybe they can put their differences aside to try and win a championship together, something Westbrook still hasn't done in his career.
When Westbrook was traded away from OKC, he played a season with the Rockets, so it would be a second stint for Russ in Houston.

Westbrook notably declined his player option for next season, making him a free agent this offseason.
There's no doubt that Russ wants to win a championship, despite not being his team's top 2-3 option at this point in his career.
Teaming up with Durant on a cheap deal could be the final puzzle piece and veteran guidance that Houston needs to get to the next level.
