Tyrese Haliburton injury update: Pacers star exits Game 7 vs. Thunder with lower right leg injury

Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton suffered an apparent lower right leg injury in the first quarter of Game 7 of the NBA Finals.

The injury occurred less than eight minutes into the game, as Haliburton slipped and fell to the floor while attempting to drive from the top of the key. He remained down on the ground as the Pacers called a timeout.

Indiana's roster surrounded Haliburton during the timeout. He was taken to the locker room, unable to put any weight on his right leg.

Haliburton went down with an apparent lower right leg injury with five minutes remaining in the first quarter.

After suffering the injury, Haliburton remained on the floor in evident pain and was in tears as he hit the ground. Indiana called a timeout and Haliburton was given the support of his team, who huddled around him.

Haliburton was helped to the locker room with a towel over his head, unable to put weight on his leg. The injury is in the same leg that he suffered a strained right calf earlier in the series.
