Tickets to the Kentucky Derby are available now on StubHub!

Passes are available in single-day and two-day options for Friday and Saturday races. Currently, a two-day ticket starts at $270. Friday-only costs $80 while Saturday, the day of the big race, starts at $160.

When is the 2026 Kentucky Derby?

• Date: Saturday, May 2

The 152nd edition of the Kentucky Derby kicks off on Saturday, May 2. The race will begin in the evening around 7 p.m. ET.

Kentucky Derby 2026 field, qualifiers

To clinch a spot in the Kentucky Derby, horses earn points in designated Road to the Derby races. Ahead of the May 2nd event, a horse must finish in the top 20 of the standings to run in Louisville. The European-Middle East and Japan Road winners will take two of the spots, as well. 

A complete field of qualified racers will be decided closer to the Derby.
