Katie Holmes’ daughter, Suri Cruise, 19, resurfaces in NYC for holidays with mom

Katie Holmes’ daughter, Suri Cruise, is back home for the holidays.

The mother-daughter duo were spotted doing some last-minute Christmas shopping in New York City on Wednesday.

Suri, 19 — who Holmes shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise — wore a green North Face puffer jacket and jeans paired with a red purse and brown shoes.

The “Dawson’s Creek” alum sported a beige trench coat and red pants paired with a beige winter hat, black purse and black sneakers. She was carrying a few packages that seemed to be holiday gifts.

The teen is currently on her winter break from her sophomore year at Carnegie Mellon University.

Holmes and Suri share a strong mother-daughter bond as Suri is an only child and has been estranged from her father for most of her life.

She was raised in NYC by her mom, who made sure to distance Suri from her father’s involvement in the Church of Scientology after their 2012 divorce.

The “Mission: Impossible” star has missed all of Suri’s recent milestones, including her high school graduation in June 2024 and her move to college in August of that year.

Around that time, rumors began to swirl that a portion of Suri’s multimillion trust fund from her famous father “kicked in” and she would be able to access the rest of the money in her 30s.

But Holmes took to Instagram and adamantly shut down the rumor, telling the Daily Mail — who published the article on it — “to stop making stuff up.”

In March 2023, Page Six exclusively reported that Tom had “no part” in Suri’s life and had not seen her in a long time.

Tom was hit with the awkward question of what his “ideal Father’s Day” would look like back in May and the actor uncomfortably walked away and struggled to answer the question.

But the “Batman Begins” actress and her lookalike daughter have each other and seem to spend lots of quality time together whenever she is home from college.
