The luck of the Irish looks good on Kate Middleton.

The Princess of Wales, 44, stepped out at Mons Barracks in Aldershot, England, on Tuesday for the Irish Guards’ St. Patrick’s Day Parade, where she presented traditional sprigs of shamrock to soldiers — and the regiment’s Irish Wolfhound mascot, Seamus — in an outfit worthy of the emerald isle.

Middleton, who is Colonel of the Regiment, wore a bespoke Alexander McQueen emerald double-breasted coat cinched with a black leather belt over a sleeveless McQueen dress, keeping warm with a black scarf and Cornelia James gloves ($175).

She topped things off with a Gina Foster Millinery forest green felt hat — a piece with its own royal résumé, having accompanied the princess to the same parade in 2014 and 2018, and to Christmas Day services in 2024.

And Middleton added a pair of Asprey London emerald and diamond earrings, Ralph Lauren black suede knee-high boots and an Irish Guards Officer’s Cap badge pinned to her lapel.

Of course, fresh shamrocks tucked into her coat added the finishing festive touch.

Middleton has attended the annual celebration nearly every year since 2012, missing only in 2024 while she underwent cancer treatment. Last year, she returned for her first solo appearance as Colonel, wearing a dark blue-green McQueen coat with a shamrock brooch believed to have been designed by Cartier.

Green is the princess’s default for the occasion, though she did make one notable exception: in 2023, she surprised onloookers in a turquoise Catherine Walker coatdress paired with matching Gianvito Rossi pumps.

Whether she raised a glass of Guinness afterward — as is tradition — remains to be seen.
