Prince William and Kate Middleton were a no-show at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding — but met up with the bride and groom ahead of the ceremony.

The royals secretly linked up with the couple, likely when the Grammy winner and NFL player, both 36, were in London in May, People reported on Saturday.

Kelce hinted at the meetup in Friday’s surprise “New Heights” podcast episode with the Prince of Wales.

“I got the chance to see you not too long ago,” he said. “[I] invited you on the show because we were talking a little Aston Villa soccer, some excitement about the World Cup.”

Kelce did not provide further details on the interaction.

Reps for William and Middleton did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The foursome’s May get together, notably, is believed to have been Middleton’s first time meeting Kelce and Swift.

William, for his part, met the Grammy winner at a 2013 charity gala where they made headlines for taking the stage with Jon Bon Jovi.

Nearly a decade later, the pop star posed for backstage Eras Tour photos with William, as well as his son Prince George, 12, and daughter, Princess Charlotte, 11.

Kelce also met the Prince of Wales at the June 2024 show in London, describing the children as a “delight” on a subsequent “New Heights” episode.

“I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to bow to them, curtsy, just be an American idiot and shake their hands, like, ‘Sup, dude,'” he recalled. “I wanted to be polite.”

Here’s latest on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding at MSG:

“That was honestly one of the coolest moments ever, was meeting you and the little ones that day,” the tight end recalled. “Me and Jason [Kelce] joke about it all the time. We were so nervous to meet you guys and the royal family. And Jason has this running joke where he didn’t know what to do with his beer.”

He and William discussed the throwback moment during the latest installment of the podcast.

Kelce and William, 44, reportedly discussed the latter being on the athlete and brother Jason Kelce’s show during their get together in May.

The interview dropped hours ahead of Travis and Swift’s star-studded wedding.

William and Middleton, 44, did not attend the Madison Square Garden nuptials — but the future king had hinted they might make an appearance.

In a May “Heart Breakfast” radio interview, William teased that he had “no comment” when asked about the event.

However, he added, “I’m hoping, and I’m sure there might be an invitation around, but we’ll see.”
