Karrion Kross shares WWE update after release

Former WWE Superstars Karrion Kross and his wife, Scarlett Bordeaux, were released from WWE following the 2025 SummerSlam. This came as a shock to pro wrestling fans since Kross was very over with the Internet Wrestling Community. Now, the 40-year-old has shared a new update on his situation with the company following his exit.

During an interview with Fightful Select, the former two-time NXT Champion said that he hasn’t been in contact with the Stamford-based promotion at all since his exit. However, he did credit WWE for helping him with his book launch. Aside from that, Kross has lost touch with the company.

Karrion Kross is currently wrestling in the indies along with his wife. The former Final Testament leader has a huge fan following on social media, and he also releases documentaries of his journey in the pro wrestling world. His book, Life is Fighting, is also doing well and currently has a 4.2-star rating on Goodreads.

Karrion Kross is working on a Hollywood project

Aside from his pro wrestling endeavors, Karrion Kross has taken his talent for theatrics to Hollywood as well. The 40-year-old has been cast in the action-drama movie Godshot. The film is based on the real-life experiences of Hollywood stuntman Sammy Horowitz.

The plot of the movie will see the protagonist, played by Horowitz himself, who is a released ex-convict, trying to build a life by working as a Hollywood stuntman while trying to outrun his past. Kross will be working alongside Ron Perlman, William Forsythe, Kris D. Lofton, Joe Miñoso, Marila Lombrozo, and Sari Sanchez in the film.

Killer Kross has also been advertised for Pro Wrestling Revolver and will be making an appearance on the promotion on February 5, 2026. It would be interesting to see what lies ahead for the former two-time NXT Champion.
