Kansas City superfans name their newborn baby after Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift

There are undoubtedly quite a few fans of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce who hope that their relationship is endgame. However, for two parents in Missouri, the desire for these two star-crossed lovers to end up together forever may be particularly strong. That’s because these Kansas City Chiefs superfans opted to name their newborn daughter after both Swift and Kelce. 

Liberty Hospital, located in Liberty, Missouri, announced the birth of the little girl on its Facebook page on July 25. They also shared her unique name…Kelce Taylor. 

The hospital shared a picture of the newborn swaddled up with a bow around her head while lying next to a Kelce jersey. 

“We are so excited to announce the birth of the youngest Swiftie and newest member of The Kansas City Chiefs Red Kingdom!! Kelce Taylor is officially in her newborn era,” they captioned the post. 

In the comments, reactions to this name choice were mixed, with some expressing concern about what would happen if Swift and Kelce ever split up. 

“Gosh I hope Travis and Taylor never break up,” one person commented. 

Liberty Hospital was quick to assure everyone that the child’s name is here to stay, no matter what happens between Swift and Kelce in the future. 

“Our nurses say baby Kelce loves her unique and special name regardless,” they commented.
