Kaley Cuoco Gushes About Daughter Matilda and Juggling Parenthood With Tom Pelphrey
Kaley Cuoco is ready for a big change.
The Big Bang Theory alum shared that she and fiancé Tom Pelphrey are expecting a baby girl, who will be joining their 3-year-old daughter Matilda.
“Completing our little family, what a dream come true!” Cuoco posted to Instagram June 10. “This second time around journey has been a little windier in many ways, but wow we are so grateful for this moment!! Little sissy on the way!!!”
The 40-year-old gave Pelphrey a special title, dubbing him a "girl dad for life.”
Cuoco shared the news alongside several snaps, including one of Matilda, Pelphrey and herself biting into a cake which revealed their baby’s sex, as well as several photos of herself posing in front of a mirror showing off her growing baby bump.
The Flight Attendant actress also posted a 3D anatomy scan of their baby girl, quipping in the caption, “Yes, the last pic is our dainty princess giving us the middle finger!”
Pelphrey—who got engaged to Cuoco in 2024 after two years of dating—shared his own excitement about the new baby, writing on his Instagram, “Deep gratitude and joy- so much respect and admiration for @kaleycuoco on this journey of ups and downs.”
The 43-year-old also laughed about the anatomy scan photo, writing, “Doc gave her a little prod for the pic and this was her immediate response…. definitely my child.”

Fatherhood is an experience the Task actor has relished since Matilda’s 2023 birth, especially as she completely changed every aspect of his life—including his career.
“My daughter owns my life,” Pelphrey joked with E! News in January. “She doesn’t even need to manipulate, she just owns me.”
He added, “She can be upfront about it because I’m always gonna say yes.”
And when it comes to acting, he and Cuoco have tried to balance their personal lives and work commitments, noting, "Obviously Kaley works, too. So trying to be smart about schedule.”
The choice is often an easy one though, as Tom added, “Being a dad is my no. 1 priority.”
