Kaia Gerber admitted that, as she ages, she turns to mom Cindy Crawford for beauty inspiration — and even looks at photos of the iconic supermodel for clues about what she should do with her hair and makeup.
The two supermodels spoke to Vogue about their approach to mother-daughter style, with Kaia saying she believes the older she gets, the more she goes into her mom’s fashion “territory,” which she described as classic.
“The nice thing about like looking quite similar to a parent is if I want to know if a hair or makeup look will look good on me, I will look up pictures of my mom — because if it looks good on her, most of the time, I can pull it off as well,” the 23-year-old said.
“I trust Kaia’s opinion, but I also don’t wanna be one of those moms that tries too hard,” Crawford, 59, told the publication. “I would never want to compete with my 23-year-old daughter.”
The supermodels were joined by the entire family — including Rande Gerber, 63, and Presley Gerber, 25, — for an adorable Vuori spring 2025 campaign.
Mother-daughter duo Cindy and Kaia look nearly identical in the imagery, lensed by Cass Bird and styled by Geraldine Saglio, with both exuding an effortless Cali-cool vibe in Vuori’s laid-back, sporty looks.

Meanwhile, her look-alike supermodel daughter showed off her figure in its swimwear, including a bikini top ($68) and one-piece suit ($128).
Rande and Presley kept it casual in short-sleeve tees ($79) and athletic shorts ($68).
Though Cindy and Kaia often join forces on fashion campaigns, it’s rare for the whole clan to model together.
According to the press release, the Gerber-Crawford family will be long-term collaborators of the label.
In other words, they’re sure to front another ad together soon.
