In honor of Sydney Sweeney’s break-the-internet lingerie launch this week, SI Swim paid homage with a series of come-hither throwbacks.
Chosen to rep “Seductress?” None other than Kate Upton — SI Swim icon, A-list model, and wife of San Francisco Giants phenom Justin Verlander.
The steamy photo gallery also includes sizzling pics of Livvy Dunne, Megan Fox and Kamie Crawford.
“Before she was named an SI Swimsuit legend, Upton traveled to Antarctica, where she posed for photographer Derek Kettela,” says the article on Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. “It was 2013, and the now 33-year-old model was posing for the issue for the third year in a row. After her feature in the arctic tundra, Upton earned the cover of that year’s issue, marking her second consecutive time on the front of the annual magazine.”

Upton made her SI Swim debut in 2011 and was named Rookie of the Year. She went on to grace the cover in 2012, 2013, 2017 — and the 60-year celebration cover in 2024 that made her a “Legend.”
Upton, 33, and Verlander, 42 have been married since 2017. They share two children: a daughter born in 2018 and a son born last year.
