Justin Bieber made a surprise appearance at SZA and Kendrick Lamar’s Grand National Tour stop in Los Angeles Friday night.

Videos shared online showed the “Peaches” singer and the R&B songstress perform their “Snooze” remix onstage. Many fans online couldn’t help but notice a sweet moment that took place between the pair.

During the interaction, Bieber dropped his head and closed his eyes as they neared the end of the song. While he seemed to be deep in focus, the “Drew Barrymore” hitmaker, 35, grabbed his chin as she sang the lyrics, “You just too important/ Nobody do body like you do.”

SZA’s touch drew a quick smile from the “Sorry” singer, who then gave a kind gesture in return by kissing the inside of her hand before she pulled away.

Fans voiced their approval of the “Saturn” songstress’ reassuring face grab, making note of Bieber’s recent alleged mental health struggles in the comments under the clip.

“I love how SZA was there for him—not just present, but truly helping him through whatever he was going through in that moment,” said one social media user. “She knew he needed to be brought back to himself, and she poured into him, strengthened him❤️”

“That’s that, ‘baby it’s ok we all know & we ALL love you I’m here for you’ grab 🥹🥹😢🫶🏽,” said another netizen.

A third fan chimed in, “A true friend hold your head up baby. The reassurance is amazing and he’s looking better. We miss you, Bieber.”

The appearance comes after Bieber faced backlash online for revealing he once told his wife, Hailey Bieber, that she “would never be on the cover of Vogue.”

In an Instagram post Tuesday, he told his followers how he had bitterly wanted to “get even” during a dispute with the 28-year-old Rhode beauty product founder, who covers the mag’s Summer 2025 issue.

“Yikes, I know, so mean. For some reason, because I felt so disrespected, I thought I gotta get even,” Justin recognized.

“I think as we mature, we realize that we’re not helping anything by getting even, we’re honestly just prolonging what we really want, which is intimacy and connection.”

The admission was preceded by several other looming concerns regarding the “Lonely” singer’s finances and recent posts regarding his recreational drug use.

In response to reports Justin, 31, is dealing with money woes, a source told Page Six, “Hailey’s 100 [percent] the breadwinner now; and watch that company [Rhode] sell for, if not a billion, right under that.”

Despite selling his music catalog in 2022 for $200 million, a new documentary, “TMZ Investigates: What Happened to Justin Bieber?,” recently claimed he is “on the verge of financial collapse” partly due to dropping out of his tour the same year.

The “Stay” singer canceled his “Justice” tour following a rare diagnosis of Type 2 Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a facial paralysis disease. He lost out on an estimated $90 million, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Insiders claimed Justin owed more than $20 million to the tour’s promoter, AEG.

Documents obtained by TMZ later showed the pop star actually owed his then-manager, Scooter Braun, $8 million. Braun, 43, allegedly gave his former client a loan to help pay off the debts from the tour.

Sources close to Justin strongly dispute that he is under any financial burden, though, claiming the recent reports are a “mischaracterizations” of his situation.
