New York Mets' Juan Soto is almost ready for his close-up.

Soto will be starring in "The Catch" alongside Emma Stone and was seen filming a scene at Citi Field. In a video posted by The New York Post on X, it showed the Mets left fielder hanging out of the dugout with Stone.

Soto was in his Mets uniform while Stone was spotted in a white T-shirt, beige jacket, and blue jeans.

Alongside Soto and Stone, Chris Pine, Tim Robbins, Sissy Spacek, Ashley Padilla, and Druski are also starring in the film. Stone's husband, Dave McCary, will be directing the Universal Pictures-produced project.

"The Catch" is a rom-com in which Stone will be playing "most hated woman in baseball" and Pine portraying a baseball player.  A lot of the plot details have been kept under wraps, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, "The Catch" is described as a cross between "Bull Durham" and "Notting Hill." Robbins, who will be playing Stone’s father, had his breakout role in "Bull Durham" in 1988.

At this time, it's unclear what role Soto will be playing in the film.

"The Catch" is set to hit theaters on May 21, 2027.
