Josh Allen's wife, Hailee Steinfeld, shared a strong message on the importance of trust and the role it plays in maintaining relationships in life. On Friday's edition of her newsletter called "Beau Society", the "Sinners" actress spoke on this topic while answering a question from her fan.
"Trust is such a personal thing, and I believe it starts with trusting yourself," Steinfeld said. When you know your values, boundaries, and your worth, you don't feel pressure to hand out trust all at once. You get to let people in slowly and in layers. Yes, the classic belief is 'trust until you're given a reason not to', but sometimes that doesn't feel realistic, especially if you're someone who's been hurt before or you're someone who feels deeply. "Instead, I like to think about it like this: Don't look for reasons to doubt people. Look for consistency and kindness over time. Look for actions that match words, for someone who shows up when no one's watching, for how they treat people who can't give them anything. ... You don't have to rush."•

Hailee Steinfeld believes that the right people don't have to force themselves to be a part of someone's life. She also highlighted how trust can develop differently in individuals, and that one should be comfortable with their own pace of trusting people.

Josh Allen reveals changes in his life after marrying Hailee Steinfeld
Last month, the 2024 NFL MVP sat down for an interview with ESPN's Marty Smith. During this conversation, Josh Allen highlighted the changes in his perspective after marrying Hailee Steinfeld.
He said that the "Sinners' actress's presence in his life has helped him broaden his perspective of life.
"Maybe that I am more than a football player," Allen said. "My whole dream as a kid, you know, has been to be in this position, and I've never thought of anything outside of that or beyond that. "But there is life afterward as well. ... What really matters in life, how you treat others. Again, just try to be as good as the person I can be I guess."This season, Allen has helped the Bills to a 6-2 record after nine weeks. They are next scheduled to face the Miami Dolphins on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
