The Buffalo Bills are still flying high after their win on "Monday Night Football" against the Los Angeles Rams. It was a crazy overtime win that pushed the Bills into the victory column.
Now, Bills quarterback Josh Allen and company are 4-1 and at the top of the AFC East. It's a beautiful thing for Bills fans, but don't expect an easy win in Week 6 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Raiders started out their season strong, but they're 3-2 going into this matchup. Veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins is no joke, though. He's a tried-and-true veteran who knows how to handle the football.
Buffalo Bills face a new challenge against the Las Vegas Raiders, so don't count Vegas out
In ESPN's Week 6 preview ahead of the weekend of games, reporter Nick Suss points out that the Bills are going to face a new challenge in this game.
"Raiders TE Brock Bowers is a new kind of challenge for this struggling Bills secondary," he notes in the piece. "Potentially down their top three nickel options, covering the Raiders' multipurpose playmaker when he lines up in the slot -- which he does about 40% of the time -- will have to be an all-hands-on-deck approach for the Bills' CBs, safeties and LBs."
He adds, "To coach Joe Brady, Bowers is a receiver in the body of a TE who drew man coverage looks from All-Pro CB Pat Surtain II a season ago, and the Bills have to be 'aware of where he's at' at all times."
ESPN's Ryan McFadden also notes that the Raiders have to "control time of possession" and "run the ball well and slow down the Bills' rushing attack on defense." If they can do that, it's possible Las Vegas could pull off an unexpected victory.
