Jordon Hudson rang in the new year by sharing a familiar moment with North Carolina head coach Bill Belichick, posting a New Year’s memory that included a toast to 2026 with “Big Bill.”
The former cheerleader and UNC socialite reposted a message she originally shared a year earlier, reflecting on the couple’s relationship and the scrutiny that followed once it became public. Belichick and Hudson met in 2021 on a flight and instantly connected. It was the encounter Hudson has said led to the two going public with their relationship in June 2024.
“Cheers to our 3rd midnight’s kiss,” Hudson wrote on her Instagram story, revisiting a caption from January 2025 in which she pledged to stand by Belichick “through thick and thin.” The post again drew attention to the couple’s 49-year age gap. A topic Hudson has previously addressed directly, but doesn't like to do often.
Belichick is coming off his first season at University of North Carolina, where the Tar Heels finished 4-8 in 2025. The former New England Patriots coach has already announced his intention to return for the 2026 season in Chapel Hill.
However, NFL speculation persists going into 2026. Multiple teams have reportedly expressed interest in speaking with Belichick, even as he remains publicly committed to UNC. As of now, there are questions about how big of a role Hudson plays in this equation. She's controlling his day-to-day operations outside of football and might push him back towards coaching in the league.
