Hopefully, Jordan Spieth was watching the Bad Bunny halftime show and not scrolling social media during it.
Because if he was on X, he might've come across an out-of-nowhere stray insult directed at him.
Joel Beall, a senior writer for Golf Digest, saw one portion of the show and was reminded of Spieth's recent struggles in his career.
Beall posted this on X:
For a second i thought these were fans looking for an errant Spieth shot pic.twitter.com/rJwqCCXBv8

Someone else replied with a photo of Spieth indeed looking through some tall grass for his golf ball and wrote, "It's the same picture!"
Spieth certainly hasn't continued his early-career success in recent years on the PGA Tour. He still finds himself in contention at tournaments occasionally, but he's far from the phenom he once seemed destined to be.
Clearly, the halftime show didn't actually have anything to do with Spieth. It's just an amusing way of looking at one of the scenes created during Bad Bunny's performance.
All told, it was an entertaining performance.
Well, as long as you weren't Spieth seeing yourself catch strays on social media. In that case, maybe it's something you'd want to forget, much like the Patriots surely want to forget all about the game that happened around the intermission.
