Jordan Love's fiancée urging Packers to re-sign fan favorite after rough exit

The Green Bay Packers are 6-3 coming out of their bye week. They are far from perfect and their franchise quarterback's fiancée wants the team to reunite with a familiar face.

Jordan Love's finacée is active on social media and recently commented on a post from David Bakhtiari of him working out. She hinted that he should return to the Packers.

"I've seen enough, welcome back to the Packers," she commented under the post.

Bakhtiari was released by the Packers before the season, saving over $20 million in cap space. During the 2020 season, he signed a four-year, 92 million deal with the Packers. Unfortunately, injuries prevented him from staying on the field consistently over the next three seasons. He played in just 13 games during his final three seasons with the Packers.

The Packers left tackle, Rasheed Walker, has done a good job, and the Packers have shown no indication that they are looking for a change along the offensive line.

Bakhtiari is a two-time All-Pro and a three-time Pro Bowler. He was a huge part of the Packers' success during the Aaron Rodgers era. Although Stone wants Bakhtiari back on the Packers, the odds look slim. Perhaps he could join Rodgers on the New York Jets as many of his former teammates did.

Before the season, Bakhtiari appeared on The Adam Schefter Podcast and noted that he is happy with his progress after multiple surgeries and hopes to play for a couple more seasons.

"My goal right now is just to make sure that I not only fully recover but I can withstand and play the game that I want to play but also play and be there for a team no matter what," said Bakhtiari. "I'm not a reliever guy, I am your cornerstone guy. Someone that's not only going to play in September but in December and into February and obviously hopefully for another couple of years."
