Joe Burrow gives his take on how Lane Kiffin is doing at LSU

The Cincinnati Bengals are off to a solid start with their 0-2 season, but it's early and there's lots of time ahead, so they're keeping up the hard work. Meanwhile, quarterback Joe Burrow is doing the interview rounds, and now, he's offering up his thoughts on LSU head coach Lane Kiffin.

During an appearance on The Gronk & Jules Show, Burrow talked about Kiffin and made his thoughts clear on the Tigers' newest head coach.

"I think Lane Kiffin is good for LSU," Burrow said. "I think you need somebody like that."

He also said that coaching a big-name team like the Tigers requires someone who has thick skin and a certain kind of personality. People will always want to criticize you and say you're doing something wrong, but Burrow says Kiffin fits the kind of coach who can handle the heat.

"For LSU, you need somebody that just doesn't care what people think. You know, he's going to do what he thinks is best," he said, "and I think guys gravitate towards that."

The LSU Tigers are coming off a loss against Kiffin's old school, Ole Miss. They'll have another go at it on Saturday against Texas A&M.

Meanwhile, the Bengals will try to get their third win of the season on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers are hungry for a win and have Aaron Rodgers heading up the offense, so it may not be easy, but the Bengals are certainly favorites going into the matchup.
