Joe Burrow gets final Bengals' practice update before Week 12 vs. Patriots

There has been no storyline that's dominated the Cincinnati Bengals headlines this week than the looming return of Joe Burrow.

He's practiced at every practice so far before Week 12 against the New England Patriots, and the Bengals franchise quarterback looks to have a decent chance to play weeks before he was originally projected to return.

As Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports, Zac Taylor said no decision was made with Burrow yet, and that Burrow is carrying a "questionable" designation for Week 12 against the Patriots.

Bengals' Joe Burrow questionable for Week 12 vs. Patriots

"Zac Taylor says no decision has been made, he'll be listed as questionable vs. Patriots," Conway reports. "Says the team will take the time that they've got before this."

Burrow, after practicing all week with the starters, looks to be in line to start. But, as Taylor said, no decision has been made just yet.

The Bengals will have until Saturday at 4:00 p.m. EST to officially activate Burrow from Injured Reserve. If they don't, Burrow will ride the bench for one more week, as Joe Flacco would get the start.

For now, the Bengals' starting quarterback is questionable for Week 12, and has a real chance to start in Week 12 against a tough Patriots defense.

Regardless of whether he's activated or not, this effort from Burrow to return in Week 12 is commendable. Week 13 against the Baltimore Ravens on Thanksgiving seemed to be the earliest he could return, with Week 14 being a much more realistic option.

But now, Burrow has a real chance to start in Week 12. He's currently questionable and could wind up returning 10 weeks after departing from the Bengals lineup in Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
