Any Milwaukee Bucks fans who want to keep Giannis Antetokounmpo just got a bad sign on Monday from the NFL's Cleveland Browns.

The Browns traded Myles Garrett, their superstar pass rusher, to the Los Angeles Rams. And the Browns share an owner with the Bucks: Jimmy Haslam.

While owners don't do trade negotiations, they often have to sign off before a deal the magnitude of a Garrett or Giannis trade is agreed upon.

Clearly, Haslam must've been OK with Cleveland trading the veteran Garrett away for a younger player, Jared Verse, along with multiple draft picks.

That could be the same framework Haslam's Bucks are looking at to send Antetokounmpo out of town.

An Antetokounmpo trade has been even more heavily rumored than a Garrett deal over the past few years, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see that get over the line at some point this summer, too.

Haslam hasn't necessarily endeared himself as the Browns' owner. His decision to put all his eggs in the Deshaun Watson basket didn't work at all.

A year ago, Haslam at least got Garrett to stick around with a huge extension, but it turns out that wasn't going to be for the long haul, anyway.

Garrett and Antetokounmpo aren't exactly the same. The Browns haven't won much of anything in Garrett's time there, although not through his fault. Antetokounmpo and the Bucks hoisted the NBA championship trophy in 2021.

Both seem more likely to win another title if they move elsewhere. Garrett has his new destination, Los Angeles. Antetokounmpo's new home could arrive soon enough.
