Jimmy Butler never fails to deliver an entertaining interview.
When he was pulled aside after the Warriors' 95-85 win over the Rockets in game 1 of the first round, the veteran forward did not disappoint.
He was asked about teammate Steph Curry's acrobatic three pointers throughout the game and Butler responded with a comparison to a famous superhero.
"Batman comes out of nowhere you never see him coming and then he falls from the sky, from a building, behind a door and does some incredible things," Butler said.
"He's going to be the reason that we do win it all," he added.
— ClutchPoints (@ClutchPoints) April 21, 2025It's not the first time Butler has compared Curry to the Caped Crusader. After the play-in victory over the Grizzlies last week, Butler called himself 'Robin' to Steph's 'Batman.'
It's been that humility and malleability that's made Butler a seamless fit with his new team. He hasn't entered the new situation with an ego. Instead he has deferred to Curry and played his game within the Warriors' system.

On the TNT postgame show Charles Barkley asked a question about Butler to Curry and mentioned the hierarchy between the two players. Steph quickly deflected that and gave credit to Butler's game.
