The Jets began signing undrafted free agents immediately after the NFL draft ended on Saturday.
They signed some interesting names already. After not drafting a quarterback, the team signed Missouri quarterback Brady Cook.
Cook, who was teammates with first-round pick Armand Membou, started 39 games over four years for the Tigers.
He completed 62.6 percent of his passes last season for 2,535 yards, 11 touchdowns and two interceptions. He ran for another 223 yards and five touchdowns. He was a three-time team captain.
The Jets also signed Notre Dame safety Jordan Clark, who is the son of former NFL safety and current ESPN analyst Ryan Clark.
They also added Michigan running back Donovan Edwards. Edwards had a strong sophomore season in 2022, rushing for 991 yards and seven touchdowns, but fell back as a junior (497 yards, 5 TDs) and a senior (589 yards, 4 TDs).
