You know, on second thought, maybe moral victories aren’t so bad.
They are surely a damn sight better than immoral losses, which is what the Jets perpetrated on a perfect Sunday afternoon in East Rutherford. Perfect, that is, until about 1:02 p.m., which is when Buffalo’s Matt Prater kicked the ball off to the Jets’ Isaiah Davis. How bad did things get, you ask? Davis’ 26-yard return would qualify as one of the Jets highlights of the day.
That’s how bad.
It ended 30-10, but the numbers on either side of the hyphen were beside the point. The Bills honestly could’ve picked any number they wanted. They easily could have huddled up early in the game, said “Hey! Let’s go for a really cool Scorigami!” and they’d have had little resistance.
