Jets' Aaron Glenn makes stunning Geno Smith revelation

1 hour ago 4

It is no secret that the New York Jets will likely face a tough season in 2026, but the franchise has made some key moves this offseason.

Veterans like Demario Davis, Minkah Fitzpatrick, and Geno Smith have been signed to help stabilize this young roster and also help get Glenn's vision off the ground in the Big Apple.

But despite the signings, no one really thinks the Jets will be playoff-bound, let alone have eyes on the Super Bowl, right?

However, it appears that head coach Aaron Glenn thinks the world of Geno. How much?

Well, see for yourself.

"I just feel like he's the guy that's going to lead us to the promised land," Glenn said via CBS Sports.

Glenn's Geno comments eyebrow-raising

Now, the big thing here is to figure out what Glenn means by "the promised land," and for us, that means the Super Bowl.

Of course, there is a good chance Glenn means that the promised land is where he wants his team to get to this season. Which could be say, five or six wins.

But it does feel like Glenn's confidence in Geno, especially after last year's debacle with the Raiders, is optimistic to say the least.

However, what else do we want him to say? We'd rather Glenn have confidence in his quarterback than not, even if it is a little much.

Still, we wait to see if Geno can really lead New York to the promised land.
