A day after the Dallas Cowboys released him, Trevon Diggs is signing with the Green Bay Packers. The veteran cornerback spent the first six seasons of his career with the "Lone Star," and now joins one of his former team's biggest rivals.
Diggs joins a team with another former Cowboys star, Micah Parsons. The defensive end/linebacker joined the Packers via trade before the start of the season, signing a four-year, $188 million extension with the NFC North franchise. NFL insider Adam Schefter reported that Diggs will join the Packers.
Plenty of fans reacted to the news, with some going after Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, who will have to see Diggs play for the team Parsons did before he suffered a season-ending injury.
