Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was seemingly frustrated with his team's 34-26 blowout loss to the Minnesota Vikings at AT&T Stadium in Week 15 on Sunday night. It was the Cowboys' seventh loss of the season, adding a big dent to their hopes of making the playoffs.
According to Jon Machota of "The Athletic," Jones reportedly left his suite at the stadium much earlier than usual to head to the locker room. The Cowboys-Vikings game still had some time remaining in the fourth quarter when Jones exited.
"Jerry Jones just made his way to the Cowboys locker room. Gotta be the earliest I’ve ever seen him do that. Usually waits until the final seconds," Machota tweeted.•

As per several reports, Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones also exited the box before the game ended to head to the locker room, likely to speak with the players. Cameras also showed Dallas coach Brian Schottenheimer with a grave expression as the team left the field, highlighting the overall disappointment for the franchise.
The Cowboys (6-7-1) remain second in the NFC East. However, after suffering two losses in a row, they may not be able to qualify for the playoffs even if they win their three remaining regular-season games.
Jerry Jones says the Cowboys missing the playoffs this season would be a disappointment
NFL: Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones - Source: ImagnJerry Jones spoke to the media after Dallas' loss to the Vikings on Sunday. The Cowboys owner said he didn't expect his team to be in such a situation, with the hopes of reaching the playoffs now hanging by a thread.
"We certainly didn't think we'd be here in this kind of shape with three games to go," Jones said. "And be behind the eight ball the way we are. It's very disappointing. I'm really, obviously, very disappointed for our fans. I'm disappointed for these players, I didn't expect that. "I thought we could come out here and on both sides of the ball make a better accounting of ourselves. Minnesota did the best job out there today on both sides. I don't know how to describe a miracle. I know it would take a very tight circumstance to get us in. Now, of course, I know how to count."The Cowboys will lock horns with the LA Chargers (10-4) in Week 16 of the season on Sunday.
