Notre Dame Jeremiyah Love had an excellent start to the game against Pittsburgh in Week 12 on Saturday. The Fighting Irish running back opened the scoring in the first quarter when he stylishly evaded a few tackles to break free and rush for a 56-yard touchdown.

When fans caught a glimpse of Love's TD against the Panthers, they heaped praise on the Notre Dame star.

Notre Dame safety Tae Johnson extended his team's lead with just under eight minutes remaining in the first quarter after intercepting a pass to return it 48 yards for a touchdown.

At the time of writing, Notre Dame holds a 14-3 lead over Pittsburgh with just over 12 minutes remaining until halftime.

Jeremiyah Smith has been exceptional for No. 9 Notre Dame this season. Before the Week 12 game against Pittsburgh, the RB recorded 988 yards and 13 touchdowns on 154 carries, while also adding 254 yards and three TDs on 24 receptions.

With his rushing TD against the No. 22 Panthers on Saturday, Smith has now rushed for at least one touchdown in nine straight games.
