Jennifer Aniston hasn’t taken off this surprising piece of jewelry since her ‘Friends’ days

Jennifer Aniston’s favorite piece of jewelry has been hiding in plain sight.

Aniston loves a pair of hoop earrings, a layered necklace look and classic gold bangles. But, not many realize that she also has an affinity for toe rings.

One toe ring in particular, actually.

Since at least 2001, the actress has been wearing the same gold toe ring on her left middle toe.

Though Aniston toyed with a few different styles in 2000 and 2001, both the exact thin gold band and the specific toe placement seem to have stuck — hopefully not literally — ever since.

It seems fitting, since toe rings were a huge jewelry trend in the early aughts. Though first popularized in the 1970s, they reemerged in the 2000s with the rise of flip-flops and strappy sandals.

As such, it seems that Aniston dipped her toes into the trend almost 25 years ago and never looked back.

This particular gold band has been a constant companion to the 56-year-old.

She won her first and only Emmy Award in 2002 while wearing it. She was photographed for the cover of InStyle’s September 2018 issue wearing it. It has seen her through relationships with Brad Pitt, Justin Theroux, John Mayer and now, Jim Curtis.

Aniston has stayed true to her own personal style, from head to, well, toe, since her days as Rachel Green on “Friends.”

Similar to ribbed tanks, cropped chinos, slip dresses and other enduring styles of the ’90s and ’00s, Aniston’s simple toe ring has truly stood the test of time.
