Jen Shah details Elizabeth Holmes friendship — and Ghislaine Maxwell’s unsettling remark behind bars

Jen Shah dished on her time behind bars with Elizabeth Holmes and Ghislaine Maxwell in the reality star’s first interview since her release.

The “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” alum told People on Wednesday that she bonded with the former during their assigned “poop duty” while serving time at the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas.

Referring to Holmes as her “good friend,” Shah explained, “As another high-profile prisoner, there are just certain things you’re both dealing with, so you naturally come together in those instances.”

Additionally, the Bravolebrity, 52, quipped that “when you do poop duty with someone, you’re going to be close.”

As for what the chore entails, she said, “You pull up a metal chair and watch everybody come in and use the bathroom. After they use the bathroom, you have to get up, go inspect it, and either clean it if they don’t or tell them to come back and clean it.”

Holmes, notably, participated in the reality star’s fitness classes, from “Shah-mazing Abs” to line dancing.

The pair had “deep conversations” about “heartache in prison,” acting as a “sounding board” for each other while walking the facility’s track together.

Shah, who watched Holmes’ kids “grow up” during her 33 months in prison, said they differed over “accountability” as the reality star “accepted [her] mistakes” and pleaded guilty in 2022.

The Theranos founder, however, has “defended her innocence” since being convicted that same year of fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud against investors.

As for Maxwell, Shah opened up about the “concerning” way Jeffrey Epstein’s accomplice was treated in prison.

The 64-year-old was “afforded things [in prison] that nobody else was afforded, like private workout sessions, special meals, bottled water,” Shah claimed.

She also alleged that although “there’s a process you have to go through to schedule your legal calls, [Maxwell] did not have to go through the same process.”

Shah kept “limited” contact with Maxwell — but said she and Holmes both believe the convicted child sex offender has “complete disregard” for victims.

“She made it very publicly known — well, at least to Elizabeth and [me] — that there’s no remorse there. She outrightly said it,” Shah alleged to the outlet. “To be so dismissive of that? That just didn’t sit with me the right way.”

Maxwell and Holmes’ lawyers did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

Elsewhere in her interview, Shah spoke about her relationship with husband Sharrieff “Coach” Shah, whom she was “on the verge of divorc[ing]” during her legal troubles.

She also took “full responsibility” for her actions during the sitdown.

“I was wrong. I made wrong decisions. I should have done things differently,” Shah said. “I should have been more diligent. And I’m deeply remorseful and sorry for my actions and for my part.”
