Why Taylor Swift Doesn't Qualify for the 2026 Grammys
They’re partying late…because they’re singers.
Trevor Noah may not take the stage to host the 2026 Grammys until Feb. 1 but the stars are already kicking off the weekend by celebrating a year of incredible music.
This year, stars were not short on options for where to party. On Jan. 29, Warner Music Group hosted its annual pre-Grammy party, which saw PinkPantheress perform, as well as stars from Benson Boone to Cara Delevingne in attendance.
Meanwhile, Spotify honored music's newest talent with its Best New Artist party, which saw Lola Young debut a new all-dark 'do, with other Best New Artist nominees like Alex Warren stepping out, as well as stars like Vanderpump Rules' Ariana Madix. Meanwhile, Amazon Music's celebration had Shaboozey and the stars of KPop Demon Hunters on their guest list.
Of course, the 68th annual ceremony at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, which will air live on CBS at 8 p.m. ET Feb. 1, and stream on Paramount+ , will take the cake when it comes to celebrations. After all, Sabrina Carpenter—who is up for six awards for her seventh studio album Man’s Best Friend—is set to perform for the second year in a row.
And while Sabrina has already cemented herself as a fixture of the annual music awards, she emphasized that it still shocks her to be included.
“I was nominated for the first time last year,” she explained during a December appearance on Late Night. “So, I literally just got here. So I was not expecting anything and I made this album out of pure love and friendship and inspiration.”
Upon receiving six nods—including Album of the Year—for her latest project, Sabrina admitted, “I was actually really, really shocked.”
Meanwhile, other stars are getting their chance to take the Grammys stage for the very first time. This year’s Best New Artist nominees Alex, Addison Rae, KATSEYE, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, sombr and The Marías will also have performances at the star-studded event.

For Addison, she noted that the nomination in and of itself was worth a celebration.
“The odds were not looking great for me,” Addison considered in an interview with the Los Angeles Times in December. “Then they said my name.”
Leon, for his part, shared how it felt to finally have his own recognition after over 10 years in the music industry.
“There were years I starved for this dream, so it's just nice to feel like I'm not crazy,” the Victorious alum told People in a December interview. “It's nice to know that with proper marketing behind my music and with me even taking the time to develop myself as an artist and tighten up the things that were loose, all turned into real blessings.”
