Jelly Roll admits he was ‘struggling’ to ‘get it up’ with ‘smokeshow’ wife Bunnie XO before weight loss

Jelly Roll revealed that his weight took a serious toll on his bedroom performance.

Aside from his obesity causing “super high” insulin and cholesterol levels, the country star had the testosterone level of a “preteen boy,” which made him unable to get aroused.

“You can’t get it up without T. I was married to a smoke show, and I was still struggling,” he told Men’s Health for their Friday cover story, referring to his wife, Bunnie Xo.

“My testosterone level — and I’m cool to talk about this openly — was of a preteen boy,” the Grammy nominee admitted. “When I went in there for the test, it was bad. Bad. The world opened up when I seen it on paper. I was like, That’s my testosterone level? I mean, dude, we’re talking a 57.”

For reference, normal levels for a 41-year-old man — Jelly Roll’s age — start around 300 ng/dL and go up to 1,000. However, obesity is associated with low testosterone levels, 300 ng/dL and lower, according to Baptist Health.

The singer shared that his low testosterone was one motivation for starting his weight-loss journey. It also prompted him to start testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), which has transformed his sex life.

“I’ll be on testosterone replacement therapy probably for the rest of my life,” he said.

“Now it’s a totally different thing. I’m chasing her around the house, you know what I’m saying?” I’m like a teenage kid again!

“I’m like the Pink Panther. I bust out of every corner. And she opens the cabinet, and I go, ‘Hi!’” he quipped.

The “Wild Ones” singer opened up about his once “horrible” sex life earlier this month, where he again insisted that his wife — who he married in 2016 — was not the problem.

“Dude, I married a f–king big-tittied, blond, beautiful woman, you know what I mean?” he proudly said on “The Joe Rogan Experience.” “I married the kind of woman that makes you smile when you cry.”

“My sex life was horrible… I couldn’t even get aroused, I was so big,” he confessed.

He also joked that he was “having to play Twister to have sex.”

“Left foot here, right foot on the X,” he cracked. “Are we in there yet? Tell me if you feel something.”

Jelly Roll — born Jason Bradley Deford — once weighed 550 pounds at his heaviest. He’s lost more than 200 pounds since embarking on a weight loss journey in 2022.

In September, he celebrated the milestone by treating himself to a designer wardrobe.

“I can fit in Louis Vuitton now. Pray for my bank account,” he playfully captioned some snaps, showing off his impressive weight loss.
