Jayson Tatum puts the false narratives to rest regarding his friendship with Jaylen Brown

After almost a decade together as the Boston Celtics' star partnership, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown will not be playing alongside each other. Tatum will continue with the Celtics, but Jaylen Brown is now with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Since they are now apart, there are a lot of people who are making up false narratives regarding their relationship. Tatum himself wants people to know that he and Brown are okay, but they do have to deal with being rivals now.

Now that Tatum and Brown are separated, people who were making up narratives about a quarrel between them while they were teammates have moved on to other narratives. They now believe there is a rift between the two after Brown was traded.

While there is a natural rivalry now because they are no longer teammates, it seems they still have a strong friendship behind the scenes.

Of course, the dynamic will be different because they are competitors. However, they have so much history together, and that has strengthened their friendship over the years. There will be some awkwardness between the two, but that does not mean they are no longer close.

"There are so many different narratives, opinions, and speculations. For me, I love that guy. What we were able to accomplish together for 9 years, going to the Conference Finals 5 times, went to the championship twice, we won a championship... You can't talk about him without talking about me and vice versa," Tatum said about his relationship with Brown.

Unfortunately, they will not be playing together for the rest of their careers. However, that is quite rare in the NBA. Now, they will be rivals, which will be a blockbuster game every time it happens moving forward.
