Jaxson Dart injury timeline might have been leaked thanks to internet lip readers

The New York Giants and their fans are holding their breath after quarterback Jaxson Dart went down with an injury in the first quarter of the contest.

Dart's injury, which was later revealed to be a knee issue, occurred when he got hit by two defenders at the same time on the first drive of the game.

Dart's knee bent awkwardly and he went down to the ground, clutching his leg. The worst was feared, of course, and it didn't look good for the Giants quarterback.

Dart was able to walk off under his own power, but as we know that doesn't always mean a player has avoided a significant issue. As of this writing, Dart is questionable to return.

Did Jaxon Dart return timeline leak?

Internet sleuths discovered this clip of a staff member of the Giants going up to head coach John Harbaugh and it appeared the staff member said "four to six weeks."

That led many to believe perhaps that is the projected return timeline for Dart with his knee injury. Take a look at the video below.

Four to six weeks would be a devastating blow to the Giants' season, but it would still be better than a season-ending injury.

Again, nothing has been confirmed yet, but in the search for immediate answers, we might have gotten one in the most unlikely way possible.
