Packers QB Malik Willis fumbled a snap on fourth-and-1 to pave the way for Caleb Williams to throw a 46-yard game-winning touchdown to D.J. Moore in overtime. The botched snap sealed the win and left the Packers playing catch-up in the NFC North.

Jason Whitlock took to X (formerly Twitter) to ask a major question.

"Wonder if Malik Willis got first-team reps this week?" asked Whitlock.

The botched fumble overshadowed what was an impressive performance by Willis. The backup shot caller entered the game after Jordan Love suffered a concussion in the second quarter.

Willis ended the game with a stat line of 121 passing yards, one touchdown, 10 carries, and 44 rushing yards. The loss drops the Packers to 9-5-1, while the Bears improved to an 11-4 record. The Bears will end their regular season with games against the San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions.

Jordan Love's injury hurts the Packers' playoff chances

Jordan Love has been one of the more consistent quarterbacks in the NFC. The Green Bay Packers QB1 has amassed a stat line of 3,381 touchdowns, 23 touchdowns, and six interceptions, while putting the Packers on the brink of playoff qualification.

According to Yahoo Sports, Love exited with a concussion in the second quarter and was subsequently ruled out after halftime due to a big hit from the Bears’ Austin Booker. Love dropped back to pass on a first down and was sacked by Booker, who was flagged for roughing the passer on the snap.

Love lowered his head while trying to leave the pocket, and Booker’s helmet made contact with it. Career backup Malik Willis replaced him for the rest of the contest.

Losing Love for at least one game could be dire for the Packers' playoff hopes. They'll host the Baltimore Ravens in Week 17 before closing their campaign with a trip to Minnesota to face off against the Vikings.
