Jared Young injury updates
With Justin Crawford at the plate taking pitches from McLean in the top of the sixth at Citi Field, the Phillies outfielder sent a dribbling ground ball down the first-base line. McLean chased after it, while Young went to the bag.
However, at the last second, Young dove to try to grab the ball while still touching first base for the force out — but McLean's knee went into his head in the process.
McLean went crashing to the ground, while Young appeared to be motionless on the ground for a moment.
