Japan vs. Brazil live score: International friendly highlights, stats, result as Selecao face Samurai Blue

JUMP TO:

Brazil play their second friendly of the October international break against Japan in Tokyo on Tuesday.

The Selecao were in fine form against South Korea last time out, easing to a 5-0 victory in Seoul in which Estevao and Rodrygo each scored twice before a Vinicius Junior goal.

Japan represent another heavyweight opponent from the Asian confederation. Like South Korea, they qualified for the 2026 World Cup with relatively little fuss, becoming the first nation (aside from the three hosts) to confirm their place at the finals back in March.

The Samurai Blue have not enjoyed the best of form lately, though. They drew 0-0 with Mexico and lost 2-0 to the United States in September, and only an injury-time goal from Ayase Ueda spared them a 2-1 home defeat to Paraguay last week.
