Jamie Miller is No. 1 on the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart dated Nov. 6 with breakout hit “Babydoll” for a third consecutive week.
The Cardiff-born musician first hit the top spot Oct. 23, knocking off Taylor Swift‘s “Patient Zero.”
He also became the first Welsh act to top the charts in 15 years since Sian Evans featured on DJ Fresh’s 2011 No. 1 “Louder”; Miller also the first Welsh male solo act in 41 years to achieve the feat after Shakin Steven’s chart-topping holiday hit “Merry Christmas Everyone” in 1985. “Babydoll” is currently at a new peak of No. 47 on the Billboard Hot 100, up 25 places from the previous week.
Only a handful of songs have secured three or more weeks at No. 1 on the U.K. charts in 2026: Sam Fender and Olivia Dean’s “Rein Me In” (23 weeks); Taylor Swift’s “Patient Zero” (three weeks); Sienna Spiro’s “Great Expectation” (three weeks).
Tate McRae’s “Housewife” holds its position at No. 2, her highest ever placing on the Official Singles Chart. Ashe’s “Stop the Wedding” stays at No. 3, followed by Spiro’s “Great Expectation,” which is up one position to No. 4.
Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” reaches its highest ever position at No. 5, 43 years after its original release; the Official Charts Company reports a 74% week-over-week rise owing to Halloween celebrations last weekend.
A number of other spooky songs also enjoy a bump, with Ray Parker Jr.’s “Ghostbusters” at No. 12, Rockwell’s “Somebody’s Watching Me” at No. 14 and Tame Impala’s “Dracula” seeing a 158% week-on-week surge to No. 15.
Bobby “Boris” Pickett’s “Monster Mash” closes at No. 19, followed by Danny Elfman’s “This Is Halloween” (No. 22) and Andrew Gold’s “Spooky Scary Skeletons” (No. 23).
