Jameis Winston offers some fantasy football life — but tread lightly

The unknown is exciting. It offers a wide array of possibilities. It seduces with its mystery, dangling its uncertainty like a carrot. Because sometimes what is hiding in the dark seems less scary than the monster in broad daylight. 

As soon as Giants QB Jaxson Dart was lost to a concussion last week, we feared this day would come. We have been visited by this bogeyman before, earlier in the season. And that monster threatened to haunt the fantasy community once again this week, casting its shadow over all those in its realm. 

But then something magical happened. The townsfolk got together and cast a spell to ward off this fantasy ghoul known as Russell Wilson. In doing so, they have saved the fantasy community from the wrath and misery he was sure to bring upon fantasy rosters across the land. 

Instead, the Giants have brought back to life the ghost of Jameis Winston. And it is with him that the fantasy community now walks into the darkness.
