Philadelphia Eagles' A.J. Brown got married over the weekend, but Jalen Hurts was nowhere in sight amid alleged tensions between the two.
Hurts was not in attendance at Brown's wedding despite knowing each other for years, according to TMZ. However, it is unclear if Hurts was invited in the first place.
Brown married Kelsey Riley in Montage Laguna Beach, TMZ reported on May 16. The couple shares two children who were also a part of the pair's big day.
While Hurts and Brown have not commented on the alleged tension, former Eagles running back LeSean McCoy shared that there has seemingly been a change in the once-close pair's friendship.
“I think sometimes, when it’s a work relationship and where friends outside a work relationship are not delivering on the field, maybe because of his fault (or the others’), the relationship might get affected,” McCoy, 37, said in an appearance on the Monday, May 18 episode of the “Speakeasy” podcast. “And I think this is the problem we have right here. … Now there’s a little bit of friction there.”
While Hurts was not at the wedding, TMZ noted that neither were any "current" Eagles players there either, but former cornerback Darius Slay was in attendance.
This also follows some trade rumors where it's suggested that Brown could end up on a different roster come the start of the 2026-2027 season.
