Jake Paul reignites Dana White feud, says ‘failed’ UFC boss is holding Conor McGregor ‘hostage’

Jake Paul is taking all the victory laps.

One of his biggest was over Dana White.

Paul and the UFC CEO have long had beef, and Paul reignited their feud after he beat Mike Tyson via unanimous decision in their heavily anticipated bout Friday night at AT&T Stadium.

“Dana White has a been boxing promoter his whole career,” Paul posted on X Sunday morning. “All these nut riders need to do their research. His show failed. Couldn’t sell 4K tickets in Dublin with that useless Irish boxer he’s promoting. And he is not fighters first. He’s Dana first. Builds you up and tears you down. Now Conor MCGregor is hostage. Free Conor.”

Paul’s post was accompanied by a screenshot of a 2014 article detailing White’s failed reality show, “The Fighters,” which was canceled by Discovery channel after just one episode.

After the 27-year-old Paul beat Tyson, now 58 years old, he called out McGregor, the former UFC superstar who has not fought since 2021.

Paul said that he’d like to fight McGregor in MMA, but that McGregor “won’t.”

McGregor’s return to fighting is uncertain after his planned bout against Michael Chandler over the summer was canceled.

Chandler, after losing to Charles Oliveira via unanimous decision Saturday night during UFC 309 at the Garden, also called out McGregor for a fight.

Paul and White have long been critical of each other.

White slammed Friday’s bout as “f–king ridiculous” in the build up and previously called Paul a “pay-per-view turd.”

And like on Sunday, Paul has consistently ripped White for his treatment of UFC fighters.

Friday marked the first time Tyson fought an officially sanctioned, professional bout in 19 years.

Though Tyson failed to turn back the clock in the ring, the event was a massive box office success — Netflix announced 60 million viewers tuned in for the fight.
