What does someone worth a reported $80 million purchase after defeating a former boxing world heavyweight champion? For Jake Paul, it was a purchase that he called a "dream."
Paul, who returns to action this weekend against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. live on DAZN pay-per-view from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, bought a ranch in Georgia that cost nearly $40 million.
"I haven't announced it yet, but I bought a ranch," Paul said during an interview on The Iced Coffee Hour podcast (thanks to Yahoo Entertainment for the quotes). "A pretty expensive ranch. It's kind of been my dream and why I work so hard. I think it's just I love everything to do with it: hunting, jet skiing, ATVs, fishing, horses, cows and all that stuff."
Reports had Paul making over $30 million alone for for the bout with Tyson. The 28-year-old founded Most Valuable Promotions in 2021.
"It cost $39 million," Paul said of his purchase. "It's massive. It's a little bit bigger than I wanted, but when I got there, I was like, 'I have to buys this.'"
Along with a decision win over Tyson in November 2024, Paul holds victories over Mike Perry, Nate Diaz and former UFC champions Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley in his boxing career.
