Nearly a year after breaking his jaw during a high-profile fight with Anthony Joshua, Jake Paul is ready to get back in the ring.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer announced Wednesday that he will fight for the first time in more than a year in December, setting the stage for a highly-anticipated bout.

"I've spent years proving people wrong, taking risks and pushing myself against opponents nobody thought I'd face," Paul said in a statement posted to social media. "Nothing that's happened has changed my belief in myself or what I'm working toward."

Jake Paul fight details

Paul announced Wednesday that he has scheduled a return to the ring in December, with the opponent still to be determined.

"We've got plenty of names on the list; let's see who signs the contract," Paul said, indicating there is still some work to do to lock in an opponent.

Paul was cleared for contact in September, about nine months after suffering a broken jaw against Joshua. The fight was always expected to be an uphill battle for Paul, as Joshua is a former heavyweight champion, but it isn't deterring the 29-year-old from getting back in the ring.

When is Jake Paul's next fight?

Paul's next fight will take place on Dec. 24, or Christmas Eve. The bout will be Paul's first in more than a year, as the fight against Joshua was held on Dec. 19, 2025.

All I want for Christmas Eve is boxing in Dubai. I've spent years proving people wrong, taking risks, and pushing myself against opponents nobody thought I'd face. Nothing that's happened has changed my belief in myself or what I'm working toward. I'm hungrier than ever, and on Thursday, December 24, I'm returning to the ring in Dubai to start the next chapter of my journey. Dubai is a city that thinks big, breaks boundaries, and doesn't believe in limits. That's exactly the kind of place I want to make my comeback. We've got plenty of names on the list; let’s see who signs the contract. Merry Christmas, Dubai. Santa Paul is coming to town, and somebody's getting knocked out. @MostVpromotions
