Jack Flaherty’s soccer star girlfriend Katie Johnson melts hearts with playful, romantic photobooth moments with Tigers ace

Detroit Tigers ace Jack Flaherty's girlfriend and soccer star Katie Johnson shared the latest moments of the couple this offseason on Saturday. The duo has a place where they can be found more often than not

The former National Women's Soccer League club Angel City FC forward shared their lovely moments inside a photobooth. The black and white montage shows Johnson and Flaherty sharing an intimate moment inside a retro-style photobooth. There was a "NO SMOKING" sign in the background.

In the first frames, Johnson is seen laughing as she leans into Flaherty, playfully squishing his face while he smiles. Other shots show the couple exchanging kisses on the cheek, bursting into laughter, and leaning on each other.

"You will most likely find us in a photobooth," she wrote in her Instagram story.

Jack Flaherty and Katie Johnson went public with their relationship in July. They had a date at The French Laundry, a three-Michelin-star restaurant in Napa Valley.

Johnson is a former professional soccer player, who played for clubs like Seattle Reign, Sky Blue FC, Chicago Red Stars, San Diego Wave, and Angel City FC. On the international front, she has represented Mexico from 2015 to 2018. Last December, she announced her retirement.

"it’s with great joy and gratitude that I officially announce my retirement from professional soccer," Johnson wrote. "I am so thankful that God gave me the gift of soccer. It’s always been the space where I have felt at peace - with the ball at my feet and the chance to create magic. It has been my compass in life and led me to meeting some of the most incredible humans and places that I could have never imagined."

Currently, she's working as a Pilates instructor.

Jack Flaherty celebrated his 30th birthday on 15th October. On the occasion, Johnson shared candid moments of the couple to document their relationship and her love for the right-handed pitcher.

"Three decades of Jack. And I get the best one 🫶🏼 Happy birthday to my favorite person. I love you" she captioned the post.

Flaherty is coming off a not-so-great regular season. In 2025, he posted a 4.64 ERA while going 8-14 on the mound.
