It’s no surprise ESPN’s Shannon Sharpe hire has gone horribly wrong

The sports world, especially as delivered by broadcast media, now provides an unlimited supply of buckets with which to poison the well, to further inflame this human-made epidemic.

This past week, as was the week before that and the one before that, was loaded with self-supplied insanity.

For example, ESPN’s Shannon Sharpe, ex-NFL star without broadcasting portfolio, took a leave following a $50 million lawsuit filed by a 20-year-old woman who claims he raped then threatened her. Sharpe, 56, claims he’s a strong family man yet acknowledged having had “consensual sex” with the plaintiff.
