Ryan Blaney and his wife, Gianna Blaney, are approaching the end of their pregnancy period. The couple is expecting their first child, a baby boy, on December 6, 2025.
Gianna posted on Instagram, with husband Ryan as the two dressed for a night out in Colorado. Ryan was in a cowboy hat and Gianna in a white faux-fur dress, accompanied by a caption:
“It’s almost time — our little family of two turns into three ✨.”Ryan and Gianna Blaney married on December 12, 2024, and revealed the pregnancy in July 2025 with a sonogram post. Ryan said that the timing of the due date in the offseason eased pressure on them both.
“We’re due in the winter, so that takes a lot of stress off,” Blaney said before qualifying for the Chicago Street Race back in July. “I can’t say we necessarily drew it up that way. Just kind of got fortunate on the timing of it.”Blaney ended his 2025 campaign on a high note. The Team Penske driver won the championship race at Phoenix and capped off his season after narrowly missing the Championship 4. He can now turn his attention to his wife.
The NASCAR Cup Series wrapped its 2025 campaign last weekend and now moves into the off-season as the on-track calendar resumes in 2026 with the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray (February 1) and the Daytona 500 (February 15).
Gianna Blaney reflects on her pregnancy journey

Speaking with Haley Dillon in July, she described being in her second trimester and confirmed the due date as December 6, 2025, six days before her first wedding anniversary.
“So, Saturday I’ll be 17 weeks (due),” she said in the Believe in the Good podcast (0:11 onwards). “I’m just honestly grateful that my due date is during the off-season, especially since it’s my first pregnancy. I don’t know what to expect. And just having Ryan there with me will help calm a lot of nerves.”Gianna disclosed that the summer has not been easy. She’s been coping with severe morning sickness and identified the condition by name: hyperemesis gravidarum. She told listeners that the symptoms have been intense and that the illness was not a predictor of the baby’s gender.
The couple never planned for an offseason birth, but could now be together for appointments and early care. They hosted a gender reveal celebration over the Fourth of July weekend, announcing they were expecting a boy.
