Al-Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo and his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez shared their thoughts after purchasing two seaside villas on the shores of the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia.
The villas are on a private Red Sea island, with the couple purchasing them for Christmas, said to be inspired by the Arab tradition of 'gathering at home' for sharing stories.
As per Hola!, Ronaldo said about the place while describing the Red Sea as a ''truly extraordinary place':
"It’s a place where we feel at peace."Ronaldo and Georgina's properties at Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve Residence, are part of one of the most exclusive global retreats, the Red Sea Residences' ultra-luxury collection of 19 villas.
Constructed on white sand, 26 km from the mainland, access to the exclusive properties is only by chartered boat or seaplane. Ronaldo and Georgina's villas have a slew of features like private pools, panoramic views, direct access to the sea and telescopes on every deck. One of the two villas has two bedrooms, while the other has three.
The architectural design of the properties is by Norman Foster-founded Foster and Partners studio.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina are reportedly planning to get married in late 2026 in Ronaldo's native Madeira in Portugal, having first met over a decade ago in Madrid when the attacker was playing for Real Madrid.
