Former UFC star Darren Till didn’t stick around to watch Andrew Tate lose to Chase DeMoor at the most recent Misfits event.

Till has had a rivalry with Tate and there were discussions for the pair to fight. However, Tate ended up facing DeMoor as the influencer made a return to combat sports after nearly five years.

Tate started off well but he looked spent by the third round. DeMoor picked up the majority decision win to retain the Misfits Boxing Heavyweight title.

Till was asked why he was leaving early and the British star had this to say to The Stomping Ground:

“I’ve given my life, 20 years to this sport..I consider myself one of the best striking martial artists in the world and a pair of numpties like that are calling me out and I am sat being sad. I had to leave because it disrespects everything I believe in and everything I have trained for.”

Till continued:

“What am I watching? I am actually unlearning while I am watching.”

Till was then asked if he was willing to fight someone of Tate or DeMoor’s level if he was paid big money, and he turned that option down as well.

When Darren Till accused Andrew Tate of ducking him

Darren Till was in negotiations to fight Andrew Tate for a while before it all collapsed. The former UFC star wasn’t pleased with how things went and slammed the influencer for the fight falling apart.

The British star posted a scathing message on X and claimed he would have destroyed Tate:

“Basically means he sh** himself cos he knows I’d f******* blast his jaw into oblivion. That's not even gay. That's proper f*** smelly [expletive] gear. Andrew keep quiet, mate. You are getting black eyes from absolute bums out here. You’ll never be a 'Top G' around people like me. You’ll always be prey. Cos, at the end of the day, you are just a little crypto nerd like the rest of the crypto nerds. I’m a f****** killer. Don’t ever ever f****** forget it, ya little [expletive].”

Till has boxed a bit since leaving the UFC. ‘The Gorilla’ beat Luke Rockhold in his last outing which came in August 2025.
